Croatia Cycling Trip is an amazing and challenging cycling holiday visiting well preserved medieval towns, beautiful beaches and trendy islands along Dalmatian Coast.

Our itinerary begins in Dubrovnik – The Pearl of the Adriatic, and ends in Zadar. The route is challenging, therefore is essential that the participant of this tour is in good fitness conditions. We recommend that the participant has regular practice of cycling middle range distance and long climbs as well as changing gears and brake control on descents. Although the route to pass along the coast, it is hilly. The climbs are always smooth, but in many cases, long. We recommend strict medical evaluation including exercise stress test. Be aware of your physical ability.

A support vehicle will follow us all the way. In addition, we have local guides to present the main tourist attractions as described on the itinerary. You can bring your own bike or either rent one on arrival (at additional cost). We provide helmet and water bottle.

Air ticket to/from Croatia is not included, but we can assist you with bookings and issuing yours. You can also add other destination before and/or after this tour.

Cycling is an activity that presentes risk of traumatic injury. Travel insurance is mandatory!

Day 1 – Dubrovnik
Arrival in Dubrovnik “The Pearl of the Adriatic”, reception and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner for tour presentation. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (D)

Day 2 – Dubrovnik
Breakfast at hotel. To avoid the crowd in Dubrovnik we will join the early morning guided tour of the Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site) visiting the Rector’s Palace and the Franciscan Monastery. Free time to wonder the City Walls or join an optional tour. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B)

Optional tour:
Lokrum Island – Enjoy a swim or a tranquil walk through its Botanical Garden.
Srd Hill – Hop on a cable car and enjoy the three minutes ride to reach the hill top for the postcard view of Old Town. 

Day 3 – Dubrovnik – Ston – Orebic – Korcula
After breakfast and hotel check-out we will take a mini van transportation towards the town of Ston for visiting the Walls of Ston. After the visit we will cycle through the Peljesac Peninsula to Orebic. Stopping for the best ice cream in Gelateria Croccantino before taking a short ferry transfer to Korcula. After we settle in the hotel we will enjoy a delicious wine tasting with a light dinner in Milina Bire Vinery, famous for the Grk Vine. Lodging in Korcula. (B, D)

Day 4 – Korcula – Hvar Town
Free morning to roam the streets of Korcula, Marco Polo’s birth place. So take your time to enjoy your breakfast. Then we will continue our cycling trip toward Vela Luka from where we will continue with a boat crossing to Hvar Island. Overnight in Hvar. (B)

Day 5 – Hvar Town
Breakfast at hotel. Cycling the Hvar Island passing scented lavander fields, Stari Grad and Jelsa. Free afternoon for swimming, sun bathing or a visit to Hvarska Fortica with a beautiful view of Hvar. Overnight in Hvar (B)

Day 6 – Hvar – Split – Trogir
After breakfast and hotel check-out we will departe cycling to Stari Grad to board the ferry that will take us to Split. Time for a guided tour and a visit to the Dioclesian’s Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site). We will continue by bike to Trogir another beautiful, tiny UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Trogir. (B)

Day 7 – Trogir – Sibenik
We continue our cycling adventure toward Sibenik. After breakfast at the hotel we will enjoy a lovely coastal ride on the picturesque road will take us through smalls towns of Rogoznica and Primosten. Free afternoon to walk around the old part of Sebenik getting to know its rich cultural heritage, St. Nicholas Cathedral and St. John’s Fortress. Overnight in Sibenik. (B)

Day 8 – Sibenik – Zadar
Last but not least! After breakfast at hotel we will cycle the last stage to our final destination of our cycling holiday. Finally we are going to the town known for its Sea Organs and the most beautiful sunset: Zadar. At night we will have a farewell dinner to chat about the beauty of the Dalmatian Coast and its amazing towns. Most of all, for remembering the good memories that we will bring back home with us. Overnight in Zadar. (B, D)

Day 9 – Zadar
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport in time for your departure flight.
